SCIM 2.0 API​

New Features​

  • SCIM PATCH requests now support pathless operations.
    • Add and Replace PATCH operations now allow omitting the path property
      • Add: If omitted, the target location is assumed to be the resource itself. The "value" parameter contains a set of attributes to be added to the resource.
      • Replace: If the "path" parameter is omitted, the target is assumed to be the resource itself. In this case, the "value" attribute SHALL contain a list of one or more attributes that are to be replaced.

    • This endpoint will soft delete a user.

    • This endpoint will soft delete a group.

  • Schema Resource Support

    • Route: /scim/v2/schemas
    • Operations: GET

  • New Endpoint Available - Long-Lived Bearer Token Authentication

    • Route: POST /scim/v2/authentication
    • This endpoint will create a long-lived bearer token for authentication, using a username and password.

  • User Management Settings Support

    • Added as part of the custom Absorb extension (urn:ietf:params:scim:schemas:extension:absorb:2.0:User)
    • Modify user types, roles, and management type.

Bugfixes​

  • Update patch operations to be case-insensitive.
  • Improve ID validation on PUT requests.
  • Enforce displayName to be unique for group resource.
